Doctors should not be allowed to help critically ill patients commit suicide. Doctors need to have a consent from the courts before they go and kill a person. Ill patients should put more emphasis on trying to live because they might have a chance at surving the illness that they have. Even if the patient wanted to die to be put out of their misery, Doctors don't have the right criteria to take somones life away. These are examples of way doctors don't have the right to help someone commit suicide.

JCCS Academic Language Written Assessment Quarter 1 Week 9
Vending machines should be banned from school. PREVIOUSLY parents and schools have complained about obesity and eating healthy. If they wanted to keep the vending machines in the schools they could put ALTERNATE healthy foods in the machines. A good STRATEGY to of influencing healthy foods is to ban these machines.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 8: Friends or Adults?
I think close friends are more important to me. They grow up with you and know what your going through at the same time. One reason, is because they can empathize with on your problems and they're able to comfort you more. Additionally, adults are supposed to be there for you where as you can find your good friends on how much they are there for you. One last reason, is friends are more fun and adults are sometimes always serious and they can only sympathize to an extent because every situation is different.

Academic Language Practice Paragaph 8
The Ten Commandments do not belong in school. I think that other children might have a different category of religion that they have practiced all their lives and it could be offending to them. Teaching about the Commandments in school could consume a lot of time when they could be taught at home. Parents play big role in their child's lives. I think that if they wanted to teach them about the Ten Commandments they would do so at home and they could be against teaching the subject at school. The Ten Commandments are a big part of our personal lives at home and it should stay there.

When I was 10 years old, I was innocent because I thought that I could do whatever I wanted to do and I was in the fifth grade. I had a bad mouth I used to use profanity a lot, every word I said was practically a cuss word. I only used that type of language at school never at home. One time, my brothers and I were playing football in the front yard and my older brother tackled me and my legs were slammed between my brother and the hard ground. I didn't know my grandma's window was open, but I cussed my brother out and she heard me. I was called in the house andgiven a lecture about how she didn't trust me and I didn't have any respect for her home. I was put on restriction and I realized that I didn't have any respect for my grandma that much and she was hurt by the words I sad to my brother.
When I was 12 years old I was jumped into a gang and I thought thats what you had to do if you wanted to be apart of "the cause" thats what they used to call it. I jumped in about six people before I moved here and I thought that's the right thing to do. At my old school their was a draft of middle eastern people and we wanted to recruit some of them. We decided on a girl because we needed more. We jumped a girl after school and it didn't turn out like it was supposed to. She was sent to the hospital and I was sent to Juvie. I got to visit her in the hospital and after I saw the damage to her face I realized that she came to the U.S. to get away from that kind of abbuse and I didn't make it any better for her. I appologized and hoped that she forgave me.

Internet Safety Project - Public or Private Profile
I think teens should set their profile to private because anybody can access their personal information. It's also a safety to all your friends and family that they are kept from danger of strangers. Mostly if you don't know the person you shouldn't friend them. Creeps are everywhere and there's no way you could stop them if all your business is online for the whole world to see. Even more can happen to you if you don't keep yourself safe from the worldwide web.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 7: Would You Rather?
I would rather be caught singing in the mirror because being caught spying on your crush just makes you look like a stalker. I would only want to get caught singing in the mirror if I was singing good. I've been caught singing in the mirror plenty of times before so it wouldn't be anything new to me.I think spying is way off the charts and you would be considered as an creeper.I would guess that you don't have a life and you spend your free time looking at people through their bedroom windows.Singing in the mirror would be less embarssing and exceptable for me.

Character Trait Acrostic Poems
Frustrated
" I ain't talking about nobody else, I'm talkin about me. God knows I try." What must a man do,tell me what."
angry
" Damn Mr. Ellis's coat! And damn his money! You think I want white folks' leavings? Damn Maybelle."
tongue-tied
helpless
"Twenty-two years, Maybelle,twenty-two years, and I ain't got nothing, nothing." He cried helplessly and hopelessly in the dark night.
eager
My fathers voice cut through hers, shattering the peace.
remorseful
"It aint right.Ain't no man ought to eat his woman's food year out,and see his children run wild. Ain't nothing right about that."

tongue-tied
I did not notice my fathers silence, for he was always silent these days.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 6: Campus Donations
I felt really grateful that they spent their time and money to give us what we needed. I got pencils, pens, and a new binder that I use in school everyday. When I saw the people that gave us the donations at the ceremonies I gave them all my attention in the audience and I clapped to show them appreciation.
