One policy that I wish could be changed is the self pass rule, because I believe that some fifteen year olds are responsible enough, and more mature than others.
Currently, this policy states that you had to be 16 to go off campus by your lonesome and to go off campus with your friends without a staff.
One reason it should be changed is some 15 year olds are able to handle the responsibility and trust that is required of them in order to get this privilege.
If this policy was changed, I would definitely try to get this privilege pronto, because I've always wanted to know how it felt to be by myself at SPA without a staff lingering around in my alone time.

Cell phones should not be allowed in schools. In CONTRAST some teacher's believe that electronics could be used as a brand new tool in school, but evidence has yet to prove that it is not a distraction in a classroom setting. Some kids do not have the right CRITIQUE on when it is appropriate time to bring cell phones out in class, yet again leaving us to believe that they cannot handle the responsibility of being trusted. Teacher's with strict rules still have problems PERSUADING their students to leave their electronics out of eyesight and in their bags. Although, upperclassman have shown the ability to only use their phones for educated purposes some children just can't handle the anxiety of not answering their phones when receiving a message. In conclusion, kids cannot be trusted to only use their cell phones at appropriate times.

The RANGE of student capabilities vary between each student. Although, in other countries the students have more determination because their life styles aren't as fortunate.
